Finarte Saaristo Wool rug

Designed by Marianne Huotari , the terra-red Saaristo-Rug with natural white patterns brings to mind Finland's thousands of lakes and boat trips. The boundaries of islands and islets are drawn on the rug as delicate lines reminiscent of the shimmering water surface. The Saaristo-Rug patterns were unexpectedly found on the reverse side of Suovilla-Rug, where the patterns resemble the shimmering surface of water. My thoughts immediately drifted to the Midsummer celebrations of my youth, which we spent on my aunt's family boat in the Vaasa archipelago. The wind played with my hair and drew lines on the water surface," says Huotari. The tightly woven wool is Easy to care for material, making Saaristo a great choice for under the dining table, for example.
